It’s so easy to stay on the familiar path. Life circumstances can make us feel like victims, keeping us stuck and playing small.

Retreats & Ceremony

Embark on a transformative and compassionate exploration into the depths of your being, where we strive to align your soul with a trauma-informed approach.

The 3 stages of ceremony

Preparation

  • There must be a bodily and heartfelt yes. If the yes comes from logic and the mind, if it is a maybe, or if someone is telling you it would be a good idea but it is not truly coming from your own knowing, then this may not be the right time. This is where the why and the intention come in.
Why are you called to this work? What is your intention? What would you like to get out of this?

  • Together with a medical nurse trained in psychedelic facilitation, we have created a detailed Health Assessment Intake Form, where we review psychological, physical, and family-related medical history.
It is very important that this form is answered honestly. Omitting certain medications or medical history can lead to lethal contraindications.

  • Once you have your why and have completed the health assessment forms, it’s time for a one-on-one consultation. This is where we fine-tune intentions, explore concerns and questions, and discuss anything that came up in the health forms.

  • The final stage leading into the retreat is the group preparation call. This is a space where you will get to know other attendees. We will share our intentions and discuss anything we would like to work through in the ceremonies.
Through group preparation, we might be inspired by each other’s intentions. We will also provide guidance on preparing for the retreat by limiting certain habits and getting into a healthy and prepared state.

The Ceremony

  • We have designed our ceremonies in a trauma-informed way that honours the nervous system. In our ceremony, you have the choice to partake in what you feel prepared and ready for. There is space to share and check in throughout the retreat.
We use meditation, breathwork, and movement to regulate the body.
There are moments of breathing space between each section where you can connect with the group or drop into the surrounding nature.

Our ceremonies incorporate rituals, prayers, song, sound, incense smoke, divination, and other sacred practices. These elements help us connect with the Sacred and deepen our connection to ancestral shamanic traditions that have long supported healing and transformation.

You can expect further work on your intentions, deeper preparation, and relaxation of the body and mind before we even begin to serve the ‘medicine.’

You can never truly know what to expect in a ‘medicine journey,’ as every experience is unique. We will teach you the tools needed to navigate the experience, and there will be two facilitators and an assistant in the space to support you throughout. Once the ceremony begins, we will be your guides and support system, but ultimately, the journey is between you and ‘the medicine.’

Integration

  • Integrating an experience like this can be challenging, and many people skip this part by either returning immediately to old habits or seeking more and more ‘medicine.’
After the ceremonies, we suggest reconnecting with your body through gentle yoga, movement, meditation, and breathing exercises. We also recommend journaling about your experience, as many details can fade over time. Some aspects may require further exploration and sharing, while others may feel deeply personal and sacred.
We create a space for sharing experiences and hearing others. Integration is about taking the teachings and lessons received from ‘the medicine’ and slowly weaving them into your life.

This could mean reducing Netflix time, quitting smoking or drinking, establishing a morning prayer practice, or taking walks in nature. Integration is highly personal and looks different for everyone. A helpful approach is to think about adding rather than subtracting. Instead of removing Netflix, you might choose to play music or read books in the evenings instead.

  • When the retreat has concluded and integration has begun, we meet again after 1-2 weeks for an integration call.
Sometimes, it takes time for insights from the ceremony to fully land. Depending on your experience, your available tools, and your support network, integration may take weeks, months, or even years.

It is important to understand that ‘the medicine’ is not a magic pill, but rather a powerful guide on your transformational journey.
Many people expect immediate results, but true shifts in your being may take 6-12 months to manifest.
For this reason, we have found that an integration call 1-2 weeks after the retreat is a crucial part of the process. This call provides space to share experiences, unpack challenges, and reconnect with the group.

The integration call serves as the formal closing of the container. We always encourage participants to continue their work by connecting with community, friends, family, therapists, and other support systems. Building a network where you feel safe to share your experiences is essential for long-term transformation.
